Biography:
 
Pastor Dexter L. Polnitz was born in Pensacola, Florida to Ernest and Eva Mae Polnitz. He is the youngest of twelve children. In September 1976, Pastor Polnitz moved to Sommerville, New Jersey with his mother and three siblings. His family later moved to Trenton, New Jersey. In 1992, Pastor Polnitz married his high school sweetheart, the former Tonion Foreman. Two daughters were born from this blessed union. Pastor Polnitz graduated from Central High School in Trenton, New Jersey. In 1991,he received a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Religion from Trenton State College. In 1997 , he received an Associate's degree in Evangelism from the United Christian Institute. In 2006, he received a second Bachelor's degree in Bible Theology and Christian Counseling at Philadelphia Biblical University. In addition to being a full-time pastor, Pastor Polnitz is employed at the Family Guidance Center- Children's Day Treatment Program in Ewing Township, New Jersey as a Senior Behavioral Therapist. Pastor Polnitz accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior on October 12, 1991. He became a Deacon in 1991 and served at the Morning Star Church of God in Christ in Princeton, New Jersey under the leadership of Pastor Jerry Foreman. In 1996, Pastor Polnitz became a licensed minister. In 1998, he received his ordination as an Elder from the late Bishop Courtney, Sr. Pastor Polnitz's Scripture is: "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work". John 9:4

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you for visiting Great Day Ministries Church of God in Christ on the web. However, what you may see or hear in cyberspace is nothing compared to what you may feel when you walk through our doors. Great Day Ministries is a reformation church, which simply means that our priorities are with the business of God and not the entertainment of people. As you come, you will hear what you need to hear and not what you want to hear! As pastor, it is my responsibility to help you develop a personal relationship with God (if you do not have one) and to help you find and develop YOUR own individual ministry! God did not call us to be pew sitters and collar wearing Christians. We are all ministers to His glory and are expected to administer the Gospel of Christ to the world. Therefore, knowing our weapon, the Bible, is a must, and according to Acts: 1:8, the Holy Spirit is essential to completing our mission. Although we are currently worshipping in the Eastampton firehouse, we consistently take the gospel to the streets.
