CREATED ON PURPOSE FOR A PURPOSE
Week 4: Created on Purpose for a Purpose
Scripture:
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.” — Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)
In a world full of distractions, comparisons, and constant striving, it’s easy to lose sight of our purpose. You may be in the midst of fulfilling God’s purpose for your like, you may have no idea what your purpose is, or maybe you find yourself somewhere in between. You are not an accident. We were created intentionally by an awesome and loving God, for a specific purpose.
In Ephesians 2:10, we are called God’s masterpiece… not a rough draft, not a mistake, but a work of art shaped by the Creator of the Universe. This verse also mentions that He prepared good things for you to do long ago. That means your purpose isn’t something you have to create on your own, but it’s something you discover as you walk with Him. Every act of obedience, no matter how small, moves you in alignment with your purpose.
Reflection:
1. Do you trust the One who is writing your story?
2. What gifts or passions has God placed in you that might be pointing toward your purpose?
3. What is one small step of obedience you can take today?
Prayer:
Father, thank You for creating me with purpose. Help me not to chase after the world’s definition of success, but to walk in the path You’ve prepared for me. Teach me to be faithful in the small things, and to trust that You are working everything for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, amen.
