Trust Him

Day 11: Trust Him

Scripture:
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."
Proverbs 3:5-6

Encouragement:

Trust is one of the biggest things that we have to do to overcome Imposter Syndrome. Now we all know that trust is faith but faith in what or should I say, who? I’m sure you guessed it, yes, God! Some might say but it's not that simple and I’d have to disagree with you. Understanding that we as people get to choose what we put our belief and faith in I’d say it's a choice. We choose whether we want to believe the lie or the truth, exactly the same way we choose whether or not we have faith in God or not.

So what is your point Kayla!  For you to CHOOSE to trust HIM concerning YOU. You will see once you do that he will continue to increase your faith ie trust back into Him.

Challenge:
Make a conscious decision to Trust God against all the things you are doubting. Keep track go write it down because He will show you that trusting Him is the best decision you ever made.

Prayer:

Lord, I ask that you would help me to trust you more. I no longer want to believe that I don’t deserve everything that you have for me. I ask that you teach me how to accept everything that is mine. Help me to put aside my thinking and trust you like kids trust their parents. Thank you for increasing my trust in you. In Jesus Name I Pray AMEN

I love these challenges Tati and Kayla! I have a question tho, how do I trust Him in a specific thing without making it seem like I'm testing Him?

I think I understand.... Basically my heart's posture to trust and obey and not sit and wait will be the difference between leaning into faith and testing God. The examples made sense as well

Hey Meka when it comes to trusting God for a specific thing it's about praying, giving it to him, and you doing whatever still need to be done. Sometimes we sit and wait for God to move when he is waiting on us, not saying that is the case but just giving an example. Sometimes also we know exactly what needs to be done but we second guess again not saying that the case just giving and example. Trust comes into play when we ask and believe that he will do it but also making sure that we're doing our part now if you hear from him and understand how he speaks to you then he may give you directions on what to do. It's up to you to do that. Hopefully I answered your question, but if not, we could definitely talk off-line.
