Alignment
Day 15: Alignment

Scripture:
My son, do not forget my law, But let your heart keep my commands; For length of days and long life and peace they will add to you. Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart, and so find favor and high esteem
In the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
Proverbs 3:1-6
Encouragement:
One show I would watch on TLC was called Botched. In some of the corrective surgeries involving the nose, the doctors had to fracture a bone in the nose to ensure that there is proper alignment in the inside of the nose. This would in turn improve the function and effectiveness of the nose and even improve the outward appearance. People coming out of even those very successful surgeries have bruises, discomfort, and soreness. After the healing, they are surely glad that they went through with it. So, where am I going with this? In order to correct your posture, you need the Holy Spirit to help you. God will have to break some things in your life for proper alignment. What do I mean by this? God wants to break off some habits, some things that you have, people who may be connected to who you cannot move forward with, old things that have been broken off that are trying to creep back in (yes I went there) and even deliver you from something that is hindering you from walking in the straight and narrow path. Walking the straight and narrow path is not easy and it is a challenge at times, BUT it is all worth it in the end!
Prayer:
God, I want to be aligned with you and the purpose you have for me. Help me to be in tune with the Holy Spirit, so that I can be aligned with your purpose for my life. May you break and remove what doesn’t align with your will for my life. May my posture from the breaking, propel me to do what you have called me to do. God, you are calling me out to do things that won’t make sense to others, but I choose to forsake all the ways I knew, to follow the path you have set for me. Amen.
