What are you thinking about?

Scripture(s)

”To the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their minds and their consciences are defiled. They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work.“
‭‭Titus‬ ‭1‬:‭15‬-‭16‬ ‭ESV‬‬

”Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.“
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Implication:
What are you thinking about? It is easy to get caught up in the views of the world because we consume it everyday. Whether being a work, school, scrolling on social media, or driving down the street. What we see generally affects how we think. How we think affects how we act. Professing to know God with any personal knowledge of Him means you are “unfit for anything good “ (Titus 1:26)  Take the time today to purify your mind, thinking on the things that are above and not beneath. Cleansing your mind from the filth we interalize daily. Purity is more than what you consume in your body but it’s also what you put in your mind. To be holy, sanctified, set apart, gloried, and pure like Jesus…..we must think like Him.

Titus and Philippians show the same coin but we choose which side of the coin we keep our mind on this world keeps us thinking about how the world sees things in put us in survival mode and the troubles of life kind overwhelm us and we began to think in our on mind and view point which we're told no to lean upon our own understanding so we are instructed to keep our minds on the things of Hod that are pure and good the struggle is real but no impossible just keep Praying and Trusting in Jesus
